Jenna & Josh told COVID to suck it with their beautiful, intimate, woodsy Oregon elopement in June!?
The original plan: Have a big wedding with lots of friends & family in August. Celebrate at a beautiful winery in the Tri-Cities. Then comes COVID, as we all know and love.
The new plan: Celebrate in June instead! Have an intimate elopement in a forest in Oregon (ABC Mountain Retreat, to be exact). And WOW did that plan work out so, so well!

Getting Ready + Details

The day started off with the two getting ready in cabins their families were staying at. They were so cozy & quaint! Jenna’s mom and sister helped her get her dress & accessories on – taking extra time to try and secure the (gorgeous) floral hairpiece that kept falling out all day?

First Look + Pre-Ceremony Portraits

After a super sweet first look with Josh, we took some quick family photos with the family members who could attend. Then, the two huddled with their guests for a prayer before their ceremony.

Ceremony
–
The ceremony, with a beautiful floral-decorated arbor & trees as the backdrop, made everyone tear up. Their parents spoke special words to them, as did their officiant, and everywhere I looked there were watery eyes.

Picnic Dinner
–
Once Jenna & Josh were officially pronounced husband & wife, they moved on to a DIY charcuterie picnic that their family had put together! It was delicious and so impressively created – nobody would have known it wasn’t created by professionals!? As they ate, their parents read out letters & emails that family members had sent in who couldn’t attend after COVID changed their plans. This was another big tear-jerking and heartwarming moment that I was so honored to witness.

Sunset Portraits

Finally, after lots of cupcakes, crackers & cheese, and a fun bubble exit, Jenna & Josh and I headed down the road for some sunset photos to end the evening! I’m so so thankful for these two sweet, kind humans whose big day I got to witness & capture. COVID may have changed their original plans, but the celebration they ended up with was so special in its own unique way.? Congrats, Mr. & Mrs. Corgatelli!?
