This Cathedral Park summer wedding was one for the books! Instead of writing my own words to introduce this gallery, I had Erica & Kevin write out their own blurb of their love story for me. Read it below!

“We met 3 years ago while Erica was working at Holman’s Bar and Restaurant. While friendly at first, Kevin started coming in more often and sitting exclusively in Erica’s section. As we got to know each other better in between Erica serving other guests, Kevin asked Erica to join her at the circus for their first date. Though the date was enjoyable, we went our separate ways and didn’t speak again until the following month. After reconnecting, we quickly realized that they were soul mates.
Fast forward 2 years later, we took a trip to Whistler and Vancouver, Canada. On the top of Blackcomb Mountain, in our workout wear and with helmets on our heads, we were able to zipline Sasquatch, the longest zip line in Canada and the US. As we were both nervous for the 1.3 mile ride, Kevin was especially nervous since he was about to get on one knee and ask Erica to marry him. In front of our sweet French instructor, Kevin took out an engagement ring, got down on one knee and proposed to Erica. After saying yes, in tandem, we jumped off the platform into our future and 600 feet off the ground.”

Everyone got ready at the Worldmark Hotel in Portland and exchanged gifts. Before the ceremony, Kevin gifted Erica the cutest Disney sign, and the coolest mint green motorcycle (as you’ll see later!) Similarly, Erica gifted her bridesmaids with the sweetest photo albums filled with memories with each of them.

Meanwhile, Kevin & his best men celebrated with some whiskey to start off the day. In other words, the best way to start your wedding day!

Once they were ready, Erica & Kevin had their first look on a dock by the water. Following a few tears, Erica then had her first look with her dad, who was more than excited for the big day (as you can tell in the photos).

Erica & Kevin celebrated their big day with a small group of their closest friends & family; luckily, they only had to reduce their guest size by a tiny amount due to COVID. Following their sweet first look, they had a short and sweet ceremony, where they read their own vows, waved at & interacted with their guests in the audience, and walked away from the ceremony to Pam & Jim’s wedding song from the Office.

Following the ceremony, we started off the reception with family & wedding party photos down the hill from the ceremony site. Since their family & friends were mingling, I just had to grab some photos of Erica and Kevin drinking champagne since they were having such a blast! Then, they popped a bottle of champagne down on the railroad tracks and as soon as that bottle opened, we all got sprayed ? Once everyone was dried off a bit, Erica had sweet first dances with both Kevin & her dad.

Following the reception, we headed downtown for some more stunning couples portraits with the new Mr and Mrs.

To conclude the evening, we met back up with the guests for some fun sparkler photos at the park!
