Maroni Meadows Summer Wedding

Washington Elopements

Liz & Justin celebrated their love with a beautiful Maroni Meadows summer wedding in July! Despite COVID, these two still made sure they got to have their big day, even if it meant with less family & friends present. It was no less special and I am so thankful I got to be there – now onto the photos!

The Venue: Maroni Meadows

It’s safe to say that Maroni Meadows is one of my favorite wedding venues I’ve ever shot at! As soon as you park your car, you’re immediately transported into what feels like a magic, fairytale garden. Seriously. It’s straight out of a Disney princess movie in the best way.

Land size: 5 acres
Max Guest Count: 200
Rates for June-September: Range from $4700-5100
Ceremony Sites: There are multiple to choose from – cool, right?!

Deni Maroni, who runs the venue, was fantastic all day. She walked around making sure everything was in order and that everyone got what they needed, and was super welcoming + acommodating to me as a vendor, too!

Getting Ready + Details: The Girls

Maroni Meadows has the cutest little A-frame cabin for all the women to get ready in! It’s surrounded by trees and is the perfect spot to get ready for your big day with your closest friends. Liz spent the morning with her two precious daughters, her mom, & her bridesmaids!

Getting Ready + Details: The Guys

Along with a cute A-frame cabin for the girls, this venue provided an awesome room for the guys, nicknamed “The Pub!” Justin then got ready with his friends & family while playing pool, having some drinks, and getting excited for the rest of the day.

First Look

Let me tell you: this was one of the best first looks I’ve ever had the honor of witnessing. Justin’s face says it all. Pure joy & happiness. Their daughters, Sophie & Marley, were so happy when he finally got to see Liz!

Ceremony

Liz & Justin’s ceremony took place under a gorgeous arbor, and involved looots of tears. Every person I looked at in the audience had a tissue held up to their eye, especially when Sophie, their youngest daughter, started crying in the middle of the ceremony. Later on, she said, “I’m just so happy that my parents are finally married.” (can you see why the tears were pouring??)

Reception

After their ceremony, Liz & Justin’s reception was filled with so much good food and dancing! From delicious catering by Della Terra & amazing gluten-free cupcakes/cake by Whitney Weed Cakes (more vendor info at the bottom of the page), they had it all. The first dances had everyone tearing up again, and watching the two dance with their girls was one of the sweetest things I’ve ever seen!

Evening Couples Portraits

One super cool thing Maroni Meadows does is provides its couples with locks! These locks have the couple’s names on it, along with their wedding date. They then put their lock on a little bridge at the venue – what a special touch, right? If you noticed it in the getting ready + detail photos, Liz & Justin also had their own rose gold lock engraved to match their wedding rings!

Sparkler Exit/Sendoff

Liz & Justin had the most awesome sparkler exit, and were sent off in a Rolls-Royce that Justin surprised her with! It was the perfect way to end such a wonderful day that COVID could NEVER have stopped.?Congratulations, Mr. & Mrs. McCall!!? Love you both!
