I posted a model call on my Instagram a couple of months ago, searching for a couple to do a creative, intimate in-home session with me. Little did I know that I’d find the absolute perfect couple.

Mac & Taryn graciously allowed me into their home in Lynden, WA, a beautifully decorated home filled with so much love & warmth. They made margaritas & drank some wine while I got to know them, and it was one of those instant connections between us. The type of connection that made me want to just be best friends with them.

We ended up shooting for THREE HOURS. And it felt like barely an hour had passed. They snuggled up in the living room, got cozy in their Pinterest-esque bedroom, and ended the session by breaking out a champagne-looking beer bottle & blowing bubbles in the bathtub. By the end of our time together, Mac said to me “This felt like a date!,” and that was the best thing ever to hear! When couples feel like their session was more like a date than a photoshoot, THAT means I’ve done my job right.

I’m forever grateful that these two allowed me into their & home, to get to know them, and to photograph them in their current season of life as husband & wife (and as parents). Cannot wait to shoot with them again in the future!❤️✨
