I booked this last-minute session with Jess & Mike only two days before it was going to happen, and I can’t even TELL you how appropriate it was that they booked my “adventure” session?These two were planning on hiking Glacier Basin Trail a couple days later, so we decided that I would tag along with them partway up, do our session, and then I’d head back down. I got up at 6:30 in the morning the day-of, drove to Mt. Rainier National Park, and got a text from Jess saying that they were still an hour away because of a road closure (thanks, landslide), so I waited in my car on the side of the road where I had a bar of service?Once they arrived, I decided I might as well do the whole 6.2mi/3.5-hour roundtrip hike with them since I was there, so we hiked! We played music, got to know each other, and got to see the most stunning views. I told them I felt like I was in the Sound of Music when we got to the glacier basin because it was one of the most stunning things I’d ever seen.

One of Jess & Mike’s favorite things to do together is go on hikes, so I’m so grateful that these two allowed me to tag along with them on this special day. The fact that they allowed me into one of their favorite activities together, and to get to know & capture their relationship, was such an honor, and I’m already dying to go back to this beautiful spot! So thankful I connected with these two and got this beautiful opportunity!❤️
