Ya know, I get a lot of weird looks from people when I say something like, “Oh yeah, I drove to 6.5 hours last night to Bend for a shoot at sunrise and came back right after.” Or the Oregon coast. Or that I went to San Francisco in 3 weeks for the weekend right before finals week.?But it’s because I grew up with a heart that CRAVES travel. A heart that craves adventure. Meeting new people. Seeing the world. Never being bored, or in one place for too long.✈️
Erica & Kevin, if you can’t already tell from the 1000 times I’ve told you this, I’m grateful beyond WORDS for our time together a few weekends ago. I got up at 5 (and they got up WAY earlier) to meet these two engaged cuties at Smith Rock, and I got to not only shoot at an amazing place, but hear their story & come out with two amazing new friends.? We watched the insanely beautiful sunrise together while we tried not to fall on the rocks. I got the opportunity to learn about how they connected, how they got together, and how Kevin proposed while they were zip-lining through Canada. And finally, we went out for breakfast at a little restaurant in Redmond, afterwards, before we all headed home.
I can’t believe this is a “job.” That weekend ROCKED, and so do these two. I can’t wait to continue watching their beautiful journey together!?
