On my most recent trip to Bellingham, I got the opportunity to do an anniversary session with Katie & Phil, who had reached out to me a few weeks before! Them visiting from Canada for their first anniversary and me from Spokane, we found out that our trip dates lined up EXACTLY, and we knew it must be a sign that we needed to shoot together??‍♀️These two got married just over a year ago, and Katie had told me that she wanted photos that really FELT like them, because she didn’t feel like their wedding photos accurately represented their relationship. And it was the biggest honor & compliment when she chose to reach out to me to fulfill that, and when, after I delivered their gallery, she posted on Instagram that the photos felt like THEM?
We had the best time walking around Boulevard Park on a cloudy Bellingham morning, and I’m so thankful that we found the time to shoot together before we both left to go back to our homes! Katie & Phil, thank you so much for spending a tiny part of your anniversary trip hanging out with me. It was an HONOR and I am so grateful for you both!!❤️
